Fun-facts and Myths
Sweating is a body’s natural way to regulate the body’s temperature, it does this by releasing water and salt which evaporates to help cool you.
Sweating doesn’t burn calories, sweating will cause loss of water weight, which is a temporary loss as one can rehydrate by drinking water or eating.
There is also a myth that sweating is the fat crying which is a very popular saying, as false as it is, it is also misleading to a great extent as ‘weight loss enthusiasts’ have indulged into the use of steam baths, sauna belts for sweating and the belief that it helps in weight loss.
